Mr. Ohnemus is a Licensed Architect and LEED Accredited Professional with 29 years of experience in real estate development. He joined VOREA after a successful tenure at Marx Okubo Associates, a national real estate consulting firm, where he consulted for Institutional Investors on a range of projects from luxury hotels and condominiums, high-rise multifamily residences, to industrial and office buildings.  Previously, Mr. Ohnemus was Vice President of Zubatkin Owner Representation from 2005-10, and Senior Project Manager from 1998-2004. At Zubatkin, he established an expertise in historical restorations, including the completion of major construction projects at St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Church of the Transfiguration Parish House in Manhattan and Christ Church in Greenwich, Conn., among many others.  Mr. Ohnemus is a motivated problem solver with broad knowledge of construction techniques, design budgeting, permitting, code requirements and project permitting and administration. He graduated from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master's of Science in Real Estate Development. Dedicated to sustainable design, he has advanced training in residential energy auditing and retrofits.
